In this course, students examine the architectural integration of relational database management systems (DBMS) with modern web applications. The course provides hands-on experience building dynamic, data-driven websites by engineering secure database connections, executing optimized CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations, and binding backend data pipelines to frontend user interfaces. Students leverage contemporary scripting languages to enhance site functionality and system flexibility. Critical emphasis is placed on web-to-database performance tuning, query optimization, connection pooling, and the long-term maintenance, security, and scalability of web-connected database systems.
