Medical Terminology is designed to provide the allied health student with a basic knowledge of the language of health care, medical terminology, as well as the ability to read and comprehend the fundamental terminology used in a variety of medical records and reports. The course focuses on the definition, spelling, and pronunciation of medical terms relating to the human body and disease. 4 credit hours
