This course will provide an overview of the physical therapist assistant’s role, ethical standards, and professional responsibilities. Students will explore topics such as the history of physical therapy, the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), and evidence-based practice. Students may enroll in this course during their final term of general education.
Prerequisites
Satisfactory completion of all required general education courses. (This course can be taken in the quarter prior to the professional phase.)
