This course explores the software development life cycle (SDLC), focusing on how to analyze business problems and design effective information systems (IS) solutions. The students will learn to gather user requirements, model system processes using UML (Unified Modeling Language) from Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools, and evaluate the feasibility of new technologies. Students will be able to translate complex business needs into detailed technical IS specifications for development teams.
