The South University’s Doctor of Pharmacy program is one of four Schools of Pharmacy in the state of Georgia and one of a few ACPE-accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree programs in the country to offer an enhanced curriculum.

School of Pharmacy Mission Statement

The goal of the South University School of Pharmacy is to prepare graduates for the practice of pharmaceutical care and lifelong learning, and to promote faculty research, scholarship, and service. Although the South University School of Pharmacy is designed to prepare pharmacists for all areas of practice, special emphasis is placed on the community environment in which the majority of healthcare services, medication therapy management and other direct patient care services will be provided in the future.
